Let It Snow...Somewhere Else
This phrase was actually on someone's doormat when we went knocking and it's fitting for today because it usually doesn't snow here but we had 2 snow days in a row this week! Meaning it only snowed 3 inches but everyone had to stay in because these people don't know how to drive in the snow and don't have snow removal equipment.
Snow days on the mish aren't like snow days at home though because we still work all day we just have to find creative ways to do so. For example, focusing on social media work, video messages, and phone/video calls. We also got creative by painting rocks with our info, and doing service by scraping snow off our neighbors cars.
We did have a couple snow day miracles this week! The first miracle came from our zone doing a PMG finding challenge and part of the challenge was calling up dropped media referrals! We ended up calling this guy named Chigbo who put in a request in 2023 and the missionaries were never able to get in contact with him. He answered our call and said he remembered making the social media request 2 years ago and is still interested. He was never able to get in contact with the missionaries due to an accident he got in. It may not have been Chigbo’s time then but it could be his time now! God didn't forget about Chigbo and he hasn't forgotten about you either! God will continue to reach out to His children no matter how many times it takes! (And us missionaries will reach out 7 of those times unless we get a response. haha).
Our second miracle was due to my comp finding a guy from Pakistan on Facebook who is interested in the gospel. I'm always a little skeptical of facebook finding but this guy is amazing and so wholesome! His name is Ahtsham and we were able to call him and teach him the Restoration. He was so excited to hear about and read The Book of Mormon and we are excited to teach him more! When we call him next week he's gonna have his 4 sisters join the call because he wants them to hear about it too! There really are people all around the world ready to hear about the gospel which is really amazing! Social media has definitely been a big part of the gathering of Israel in these latter days.

Spiritual thought:
“Brothers and sisters, I encourage you to remember and always focus on Jesus Christ. He is our Savior and Redeemer, the “mark” to whom we should look, and our greatest treasure. As you come to Him, you will be rewarded with strength to face life’s challenges, courage to do what is right, and the ability to fulfill your mission in mortality. Treasure the opportunity to repent, the privilege of partaking of the sacrament, the blessing of making and keeping temple covenants, the delight of worshipping in the temple, and the joy of having a living prophet.”
Jesus Christ Is The Treasure
Elder Dale G. Renlund
Luke 12:34
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Jesus Christ is our treasure not money, popularity, technology, or anything else that we idolize in this day. So focus on Him always and you will be blessed. I know I have as I have dedicated this time to serve Him.
Love ya'll, stay safe!
Peace and Love,
Sister Kendrick
