That's right I'm in a trio!! My mom/official trainer is Sister Jones and our other comp is Sister Livingston and she's an STL! Meeting them was definitely a highlight of the week. I am very grateful for their kindness and help to get settled. I can't wait to learn more from them! And guess what??? Sister Jones is gluten free too so I’m not alone in my misery and the members know to make gf dinners. This week was so awesome and I loved getting to meet some of the people we're teaching and share my testimony in lessons! I'm currently in Creedmoor which is a tiny lil town. Sister Jones said everyone here is a little kooky so good thing I am too, I’ll fit right in! Shoutouts to:     – Mackay because it's his birthday today! I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous to leave the comfort of the MTC for the field but I know that I've been called by the still small voice of the spirit to serve a mission and the Lord will be with me every step of the way.      You may have heard of scripture power but have you heard of sister power!? I can testify that it's a real thing. Something that stood out to me this week is just how amazing the Sister missionaries here are! The Elders are great too but questionable sometimes haha. All the Sisters I've met are spiritual giants and I have already learned so much from them. I also just love the way the Sisters support, encourage, check in on, and uplift one another. My first couple days here of switching over medical devices and adjusting to living with 4 people in a tiny space were kinda rough but I had so much support from the Sisters in my residence hall and especially from my comp. I'm just grateful I only have to be here for 2 weeks rather than 9 like the Chinese speaking missionaries.          To be honest the food here tastes ok for the most part it just doesn't sit in your gut well. All that processed food has gotta be so bad for us. On the bright side ...

Thanks y’all for being here! I hope you had a good start to 2025! Welcome to email numero #1. Yesterday I finally finished home MTC, yay! (Solid 8/10 week) As much as I disliked having zoom classes for 7+ hours a day it was very cool to see how the spirit was able to reach each of us missionaries in our diverse locations around the country and even the world. The group I’m in is district 27-C and they are all amazing. I have learned so much from them, especially my sweet companion Sister Moon (also going to NC) who also just completed a semester at USU and wants to go into English education so we’re basically the same person haha. I also love my teachers, especially Brother Reid and I can’t wait to have in person classes with him. One of the Elders in our district, Elder Holen, is a convert and he has such a powerful testimony that he loves sharing and which has inspired us all. I can tell he is just so ready to go and serve.
